Specialist Frets Servicing & Maintenance Job Scope
1) Frets levelling / Spot(s) levelling
2) Frets crowning
3) Frets edge bevelling
4) Frets edge dressing
5) Frets cleaning & polishing
The cost for a full Specialist Frets Servicing & Maintenance Job Scope is an additional RM 160 flat charge, on top of our 7 Points Specialist Setup & Servicing Job Scope or our Partial Setup & Servicing Job Scope (as per pricing table listed below).
Our Specialist Frets Servicing & Maintenance Job Scope is a compulsory package bundled together with either the 7 Points Specialist Setup & Servicing Job Scope or the Partial Setup & Servicing Job Scope (i.e.: The Specialist Frets Servicing & Maintenance Job Scope cannot be opted or selected by its own).
This is because both our 7 Points Specialist Setup & Servicing Job Scope & our Partial Setup & Servicing Job Scope are usually the final calibration process which will integrate and provide the best combined results from the Specialist Frets Servicing & Maintenance Job Scope done in tandem. This marriage shall then provide you with the best blend of your instrument's playability, comfort, feel, and tone optimisation all under one big equation.
Specialist Refretting / Partial Specialist Refretting Job Scopes
If your instrument needs complete or partial Specialist Refretting work, we are able to provide this service for both unbound and bound neck types. Our complete Specialist Refretting job scope package price begins from RM 800 and up (depending on the type of frets required to be installed, or whether the instrument comes with an unbound or bound fingerboard).
Partial Specialist Refretting work usually starts from RM 450 and up (for the max. replacement of 5 old frets). We therefore recommend a complete refret (see above) for anything that exceeds 5 frets. Both the Specialist Refretting & Partial Specialist Refretting package prices include these 3 key work scopes: Specialist Refretting Job Scope or Partial Specialist Refretting Job Scope, Specialist Frets Servicing & Maintenance Job Scope, & our 7 Points Specialist Setup & Servicing Job Scope.

I. Labor Cost for handling of any types of semi-hollow / hollow body guitars requiring any form of electrical works above (a. to m.): Surcharge of additional RM 150 per instrument. This extra handling cost corresponds to similarity of a 'key-hole' surgery for these types of guitars, where accessing the wire-harness, potentiometers, switches, and output jacks are usually done very carefully and precisely via the small pickup cavities or through one of the 'f-holes'.
II. For passive to active pickup systems conversions for electric guitars, kindly contact us for further assessment and labor cost estimates. This is as each installation will be unique between instruments to instruments. For acoustic guitar pickup installation (only) which normally includes the pre-amp board (cut-out), the under the saddle piezo element, microphone, and the end-pin / output jack installations, the cost typically starts from RM280 and up (depending on the complexity of the custom work). Kindly enquire for other types.
We welcome enquiries from other musical establishments as well (music retail stores, jamming & recording studios, music schools, and etc.) Kindly please contact us for Corporate rates.

i. All additional part(s) replacement and its associated labor charges at additional cost.
ii. Depending on complexity of the job or no. of instruments involved, instruments are usually
