Hi, I’m Terence, the guy behind TC Music Enterprise.

 

I grew up in Kuala Lumpur, and guitars have pretty much been around me for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I was either playing them… or taking them apart just to see what was going on inside. Probably drove a few people crazy doing that 😄

 

What really got me hooked wasn’t just the sound, but how everything worked together. I got curious about setups, truss rods, little adjustments, just trying to make my own guitars feel better and sound right.

 

Over time, I tried a few different things in life, but this was the one that stuck. There’s just something about bringing a guitar back to life that never gets old for me. Getting it to play the way it should… that feeling is hard to beat.

 

During my college years in Mobile, Alabama, I worked at a small shop called West Mobile Music between 1994 to 1997. That’s where I really got my hands dirty, working on customers’ guitars, learning the ropes day by day. I owe a lot to Tommy Allen, the manager there, who took a chance on me when I was still figuring things out.

 

After graduating in 1997, I came back to Malaysia and spent some years in the corporate world. But somehow, I always found myself coming back to guitars.

 

In 2015, I finally decided to go all in and started TC Music Enterprise. Nothing fancy, just a simple idea: do honest work, keep things clean, and take care of the people who trust me with their instruments.
