A 1984 Ibanez AR305 electric guitar in antique violin finish, made in Japan. Comes with non-original black hardshell case. Plays well and sounds great. The AR305 is an Artist series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1982. It was made in Japan. The AR305 features a double-cutaway mahogany body with a bound dish carved burl mahogany top mated to a set-in three-piece maple neck with a 22-fret bound ebony fingerboard with pearl and abalone block position markers. Components include dual Ibanez humbucking pickups with individual volume and tone controls and a fixed bridge and tailpiece. Each pickup has a Tri-sound switch with three pickup settings: humbucker, single-coil or reverse phase. The AR300 is a similar model with a flame maple top. The AR105 is a related model with dot fretboard markers and without the Tri-sound switching. The AR305 was discontinued after 1987.
