Here's another of Richard Joseph's workhorse Fender Stratocaster. She's been refinished many years ago in Pewter Gray. The neck and bridge pickups have been replaced with Kent Armstrong single coils. The middle pickup is a replacement Fender Stratocaster single coil. Stellar tone indeed!

This guitar has been pro-refretted to jumbo type fret-wires. The bridge and saddles are replacement Fender vintage reissue type. Has had a 5 way switch installed and tone control for the bridge pickup enabled.

All the tuning pegs appear to be of original Fender 'F' tuners of the 70s era. The serial no. reads S7766xx.

Due to these upgrades, this Strat is a stellar performer and sounds exceptionally well with the original swamp ash body with maple neck and fingerboard.

Richard got this guitar as tribute to Eric Clapton's Pewter Signature Strats used in the late 1980s by the legendary guitar player himself.

A nice guitar both for collection or simply for playing at home, in the studio, or on stage.

As with most vintage guitars, this is no different; she is well seasoned, plays comfortably and gives a nice tone. Note however, some imperfections are expected on this 40 year old guitar. Please be informed appropriately.

Gig bag included together with the sale. Guitar weighs in at 8.2 Lbs / 3.70 kg.
